Class IV : Offset Hub Doubling

Offset hub doubling occurs when the working hub is not centered exactly the same as a previous hubbing. Thus the die is hubbed with two different centers.

What to look for :

All the doubling will be in the same direction. The degree of doubling will be the same on design elements around the rim as in the center of the coin.
